Bernard Hughes
Bio

Bernard Hughes is a composer and writer, based in London. He writes for theartsdesk on classical music (and occasionally other genres) and books. His concert reviewing often goes off the beaten track, covering newcomers or less mainstream ensembles or quirky venues. He is part of the Classical CDs team and is always looking out for new recordings of Schubert's Fifth Symphony to add to his pile. Bernard previously dabbled in the world of comedy and is a lifelong passionate cricket-lover. His own music is predominantly choral, but he writes for all groups and occasions as required.
