Completely untrue, Janese. People - the public - buy newspapers. You yourself chose to seek out and read this article, nobody force-fed it to you.

Massive talent gone to waste. RIP.

All the music critics I know, Janese, are first and foremost music fans, just like you presumably are. And the tributes above are heartfelt tributes. I think it is you who should be questioning your own behaviour if you’ve got nothing better to do in response to such sad news than to put up mean-spirited judgemental comments like this.

Nick Drake died at 26, not 27.
