Reader offer, Jewish Book Week

Jewish Book Week is making a special offer to readers of theartsdesk. From the week of literary discussions taking place at the Royal National Hotel in London, the festival is offering our readers a chance to buy a ticket to four events and to take along a guest for free.

In Democracy at Risk a panel including John Kampfner, Eric Kaufmann and Dominique Moïsi will ponder threats to democracy from the pursuit of wealth, religious fanaticism and the East-West divide. 7pm, Thursday 4 March.

The Poetry Hour includes late-night readings by George Szirtes, Michelene Wandor and Bernard Kops. 11pm, Sunday 28 February.

In Writing to change the world, the novelists Michael Arditti, Amanda Craig and Moris Farhi will discuss the big issues arising from their work, including racism and homophobia, faith and religion, the right to die and the meaning of art, cycles of vengeance. 11am, Sunday 7 March.

If you would like to see any of these events, call Ticketweb on 0844 847 2274 quoting "The Arts Desk Offer".

Jewish Book Week runs from 27 February to 7 March.
